Smoge Impact on Health!

  5. Infkesi-solving skills, lungs and respiratory tract is reduced, thus making it easier infection.
  6. Various chronic diseases can also deteriorate.
  7. Pollutants in the smoke of forest fires can be a source of pollutants in the water supply and food are not protected.
  8. Acute respiratory infections (ARI) so it is easier to happen, mainly because the immune system imbalance (host), the pattern of bacteria / viruses that cause disease (agent) as well as poor environment (environment).
According to Professor of Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine School of Medicine who is also the Head of the Health Research and Development (Balitbangkes) Ministry of Health Tjandra Yoga Aditama said the direct impact that will be felt is a lung infection and respiratory tract.

Tjandra explained, smog can cause local irritation of the mucous membranes in the nose, mouth and throat. Then also cause allergic reactions, inflammation, to acute respiratory infections (ARI) and heaviest become pneumonia.

"The ability of the lungs and respiratory tract infections are also overcome more easily reduced, causing an infection," said Tjandra.

In addition to respiratory infections, other impacts namely, interference irritation to the eyes and skin due to direct contact with the smoke of forest fires. Ranging from itchy, watery eyes, inflammation, and infection was advancing.
